The Digital Publishing Project in 1997 at Herberton
State Secondary School demonstrates that the production of locally created and printed
books containing colour images is feasible even in remote, rural schools. The content of
the book is based on students experiences and regional lifestyles. Students have
been valued members in this production which depended on creative student work. The book
is reproduced in these web pages with minor adaptations for the different media.
