Glenwood Springs |
Camping Trip |
We took the granddaughters on a camping trip
to Glenwood Springs for a week. We had many adventures and lots of fun as
you will be able to see by viewing the pictures. We stayed at the Glenwood
Springs Resort and recommend it highly. While there, we did a little hiking,
biking, miniature golf, swimming, river playing, and spelunking. Lexi had
her own adventure (surgery!), not something everyone does on a camping trip.
She had fallen at home before the trip, injuring her left elbow. It was thought
to be a sprain. However, it became clear that she could and would not use
that arm for activities, so was taken to the doctor in town. Long story short
- she had surgery for a displaced radial head fracture. What a trooper! She
was back playing with the others the next day! The only thing she missed was
the bike ride - she and her grandma went miniature golfing instead. She beat
her grandma! Sorry, no pictures, the bikers had the camera. Chris and Jenn
came up for the surgery and stayed for the rest of the trip. We were in gorgeous
